Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt

For playgroup this week we had an Easter Egg Hunt. We had a great turnout and lots of fun, even though it was cool and drizzling.

I helped Nora find one purple egg, but really she was more interested in the grass than the egg.

I didn't get any pictures of Zeke actively hunting because I was busy making sure he got something. By the time he saw an egg and decided he wanted it, someone had come by and scooped it up. Bonus for us that this time the kids who came through first got all the brightly colored eggs and didn't notice the green camouflage ones hidden in the grass. So we walked along the back fence collecting camouflaged eggs.

As expected Nora tried to eat the eggs.

And afterwards we had chocolate cupcakes with butterfly sprinkles and ducks made out of vanilla ice cream.
